The name “Of The Esmerald Dragon” came about after much research.We decided to associate the Sphynx with a mythical animal because we believe that it is as difficult to bring a perfect Sphynx (by its physical appearance, its color and its robustness) into the world, as it is to see an emerald green baby dragon hatch from its egg.

It has taken us several years to find and bring together the most beautiful subjects that have become the pillars of our breed.Subjects with a genealogy free of any abnormalities, coming close to a perfect breeding standard that allows us to breed high quality Sphynx, with total nudity, a distinctive appearance, highly social characteristics, as robust as possible and with many different colors of skin as well as rare eye colors.

During this long journey, we have tried to trace back and find the European and American breeding lines as well as those of the pioneer breeds in the world that for the most part have disappeared.

The Sphynx is a race that has undergone much hybridization with the Rex Devon, the Siamese and the American Short Hair …
In fact, in the United States and Canada, hybridization is still authorized and used in many breeding programs. However, in Europe, that is no longer the case. There are now enough different breeding lines with new colors to succeed in breeding beautiful Sphynx that are completely hairless.
